I've been an actor for about a million years and an acting coach for the last few.
I'll help you identify your strengths and address your weaknesses. I'll help you prepare your audition so that it feels like a performance, not a test. I'll help you put your audition on tape so it is easy and fun and it's great. I'm funny. I'm kind. I'm energetic. I'm not pretentious and I'm not a robot. I believe there are some differences between acting for film and acting for theatre but, in the end, it is all about honesty and reaction, truth telling and good choices. Performing may be glorious and liberating but it is always challenging. Preparing well means being uncomfortable. Acting is hard and auditioning is harder. My goal is to push you as an actor to go through the icky stuff here with me so that you can shine once you get in the room. |

space included!I have a lovely studio with stellar lights and great sound (and a waiting room
and a bathroom and several mirrors) conveniently located at 260 West 44th Street (44th St and 8th Ave) in Manhattan inside the casting office of David Caparelliotis |
Training
I imagine that actors coming to work with me will have some amount of training. No worries if you don't, but, if you do, know that we will start with your vocabulary and your process and go from there.

Talent
If you are engaging in this process, someone along the way has probably said to you, "You're good at this..." and hopefully you have felt it as well. We'll use your strength, build on what you do well, and then we'll address the things you find challenging.

Timing
My job is to help you take advantage of the opportunity at hand. You have an audition or a role; my task is to help you make the very most of this promising moment.
